A Taste of Newark

Michelle and I have been supporters of The Link Community School for many years now thanks to the generous efforts of David Ferry (Vice Chairperson on the Board of Trustees). Dave has invited us to the Taste of Newark every year to help raise money for the school which we find to be inspiring. Michelle and I both believe that education is the key in teaching kids how to be productive adults for the future and the Link Community School does this for many economically disadvantaged families.

If you plan to attend, let us know! Tickets to the event are a $100 donation and include an all you can eat food tent (with LOTS of great food from surrounding restaurants), all you can drink bar, performances by the kids currently enrolled in the school, a silent auction and an exciting live auction with celebrity hosts! You will also see how this school is helping to change the face of Newark with education plus you are sure to have a fun evening out!
