"Sometimes we're given gifts from God the second we're born, but it takes years to discover them.....After being homeschooled for nine years, I finally went to high school and for an elective I was persuaded into taking a photography course by my mother, who was a photographer and gave me my first camera at the age of 4......I love photography, everything from the smell of a fixer on my hands to the mathematics involved with cutting a perfect mat board......So sometimes it takes us a while to grasp the things that God gives us, but lucky for us He loves us and even though we don't realize His gifts right away, He's busy cultivating them regardless. We recently blogged about our promotional shoot with Vanessa Joy from Vanessa Joy Photography. We had so much fun filming in NYC! In addition to the video footage from the NYC shoot, we filmed an interview for Vanessa to use in the edit. We are just getting started on her promotional edit but here are a few pictures from the interview.

Vanessa Joy Photography is one of those unique companies that sets the standard in wedding photography and Creative Video Editing films has had the pleasure to work with them many times. They produce some of the most beautiful images we have ever seen! So when Vanessa called and hired us to film and edit a new promotional video for her company, we were very excited!

We had a blast and spent about 7 hours filming in New York City with two wedding couples, a professional make-up artist, two photographers, and us! The day started in Bryant Park and from there it was non-stop. Grand Central Station, NYC Public Library, Times Square, Radio City Music Hall, Rockefeller Center, 5th Ave, Central Park, the Subway, and Pen Station were some of our filming locations! It was a great day!
